Jardins de Sophie, Domaine de la Moineaudière history

La Moineaudière was founded in 1951 by Pierre Blaise, in an ancient Vosges farm. It became a hotel-restaurant in 1988 and in June 2006, La Compagnie des Hotels des Lacs bought the hotel to create a place dedicated to rest and relaxation: Les Jardins de Sophie, Domaine de la Moineaudière.

Between Xonrupt-Longemer and Valtin, 8km from Gerardmer, Les Jardins de Sophie are located in a 9ha property, in the heart of Vosges forest.

Vosges forest is made of pectinate silver firs and majestic spruces with dark red trunks. It gives beautiful colors to the mountain: deep to bright greens mixed with red and brown during the autumn, sprinkled by snow-flakes in winter.

Nature at its finest, mountain spirit while totally immersed in peace.

Curled up in the middle of the forest, le Domaine de la Moineaudière is entirely dedicated to wellness. One comes into the nature to feel peaceful and take a breath in the forest...
